OUR MINISTRY

CURRENT
This year, we're excited to send two small teams to Mongolia, Moldova and Russia, partnering with local teams to encourage, uplift, and assist in spreading the gospel. After a long pause since 2019 due to the pandemic and ongoing unrest, we're eager to return to the cities we've been supporting for years. It's a privilege to come alongside our faithful brothers and sisters, who have continued their work with perseverance and gratitude despite the challenges
2019
In 2019, two teams conducted day camps, worked with young people, and visited orphanages and nursing homes. One of the teams traveled to Russia, the Rostov region. And the other team served in the north of Moldova, and in Ukraine, in the Nikolaev area. A total of six camps were held, not counting other counseling and humanitarian work that were carried out in these places.
Since there is a shortage of young ministers in the churches where the summer camps are held, we see a great benefit in our participation. We are pleased to provide these churches with the materials, equipment, and supplies they need, as well as to work hard to run the children camps. Subsequently, children who hear the Word of Christ in these summer camps, and their parents, receive care and attention from the ministers of the local churches.
UKRAINE
YAMAL
Yamal includes cities, towns, and of course the vast tundra, washed By the Arctic ocean. In the tundra, the indigenous population consists of Nenets, Yakuts, and Chukchis living in tents and yurts above the Arctic circle. The main inhabitants of Yamal are Russians, Ukrainians, Tatars, Germans, Belarusians, Khanty, Azerbaijanis and Bashkirs. This Peninsula is characterized by long winters up to 8 months, short summers, and strong winds. The climate of this region is characterized by an abundance of bays, rivers, marshes and lakes. Due to this, many insects live in this area. Flies and mosquitoes leave a particularly vivid imprint on the residents. The gnat bites off a piece of skin, and the mosquito pierces the skin. Accordingly, the skin swells and hurts more than just a mosquito bite.

ROSTOV-ON-DON / ROSTOVSKAYA OBLAST
In the South of Russia, in the Rostov region in the summer there is a warm and pleasant climate. Fields, mountains, lakes and rivers take your breath away with their splendors. Despite the beauty of nature, the population continues to decline by a couple thousand every year.
The main population of the settlements near Rostov are seniors and women with children. Young people leave these places to go study, and men leave to work in big cities.
In the Rostov Region the main religion is Orthodoxy.
Moldova
The small country Moldova is adjacent to Ukraine and Romania. Despite the warm climate in the summer, most of the population goes to work abroad - in Turkey, Russia and Europe. Most people live thanks to farming and cattle breeding. They sell what they have grown with their own hands in order to save money to heat their apartments and houses in the winter. In the villages in the north of Moldova, the residents speak Ukrainian and Russian. Churches are filled with elderly people. There are many children in the villages, and they are open to the Gospel.
